A Walk in the Park

Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award A Walk in the Park I was highly honored as one of four state winners of the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award. illicksmill

The Illick's Mill Partnership for Environmental Education is an innovative consortium transforming the City of Bethlehem's Illick's Mill into a community environmental center. We will establish a home for environmental action to preserve and protect the Monocacy Creek watershed and its abundant wildlife, and provide a model of environmentally sustainable practices and technology. Why re-use the Mill as an environmental center? Monocacy Nature Center, a 20-acre site contiguous to the mill, is located in a densely populated area, and is heavily utilized by local citizens.

Brunswick Redevelopment and Revitalization Committee

I recently formed the Brunswick Redevelopment and Revitalization Committee in my hometown of Brunswick, MO. I was just tired of seeing my beloved hometown become weary, and decided to make a difference. Brunswick is a small town of only 925 people residing in the city limits, 1300 if you count the residents in the township. Downtown Brunswick is unique because unlike most cities our downtown is located directly on the major Highway 24.
