Here is what you can expect:

If you wish to visit patients:

You need to be 16 or over and have a valid driver's license or California ID.

When you sign up, we will contact you probably by phone or email.

We will set up a time and place for you to obtain your TB and Drug test in a clinic fairly near to you.

We will set up a time for you to come to a training. You may be able to do part of the training at your home.

At one point, you will fill out an application.

We will do a background check on you with your permission.

When all these things are finished we will go together to your first volunteer visit!

After each visit you fill out one sheet of paper for each patient you visit, and fax that to us, or mail it in envelopes provided for you.

Hopefully you will love what you are doing, get to know and love the patients, and want to come back once or twice a week long term!
