Turtle Talks is an eco-literacy project. The program educates youth on the plight of threatened and endangered sea turtles. Turtle Talks has been on going for the past six years. It is an environmental road show that is shared at schools, libraries, and nature events. A powerpoint presentation is used to educate kids on the life of turtles in the oceans. A home made turtle costume is put on a young student to show the anatomy of a sea turtle. A biodegradable board is used to let kids know how long trash takes to break down in the waterways.
