My name is sandra olisa and I am the co-founder and treasurer of my organization called Minority Health and Medical Student Association. The purpose of this organization was to inform minority students that are interested the medical field about the opportunities and advantages that they have. This organization gives them leadership experience, community service, and clinical hours. We tutor students at a local elementary and also participate in many community service projects such as Habitat for Humanity, which helps hurricane victims build homes.

Peacejam is an organzation dedicated to the empowerment of youth to create change within their communities through action and dedication. The organization was concieved in 1994 in Denver, Colorado and has grown tremendously since then. It utilizes the efforts of 12 Nobel Peace laureates (bringing them together to educate the youth on how to create better societies).
