Teens running things is something i'd like to explain.
Many people,(adults mostly) don't pay enough attention
to what us teens have to say. There are lots of things
that I would like to see change in my community but no
one who I think could help me, listens. So my project
"Teens Running Things" will hopefully tell the community
how we all feel about being "accidently ignored."

The Selma High School Chapter of the Focus Program would like to do a project on hiv,aids, STD's, and other harmful infections.Even though there are treatments for this Dallas County has the highest rate of STD's, etc. int the state of Alabama. We think that the community needs to know about ALL of the diseases that may be contracted from having unprotected sex.

The March To Good Health

This project is a fun project that will be appealing to people and make them want to get into shape and lead a healthy life style. The Project is called the March to good health because thats exactly what it is, a long distance walk that will motivate people to get into shape. Many people die each year due to bad health and poor choice of living. Prior to the event we will raise awareness of this and motivate people to change not only how they look on the outside, but change their overall health too. We will also ask people who are famous in the world of famous or just famous to the world to participate and help lead the world to good health. Most people who are passionate about health would be more than happy to participate in such a great cause. Each participant will raise money that will go toward the cure for cancer. Bad health is a way to develope cancer and we are trying to demolish bad health within our nation. By raising money toward cancer we are atleast making an attempt to heal those who have already gone down the path toward unhealthy living.

Library Gaming Club

Hi I am writing on behalf of the Great Northwest Library in San Antonio, Texas. We have been trying to start a Youth gaming group which would bring more youth into the library. We were wondering if you could help contribute or know of someone who could help contribute to our group. In this group we hope to teach the youth of friendly competition as well as respecting and learning from others. We hope that it also brings more of a 10 -25 age group into the library by showing them that the library is more than books but how the library has resources that they can use to aide them as they continue their education . Please let me know if you can help us with this. I can go greater into detail if you please, I just wanted to give a brief summary of our plan. Thank you.
