This project will support children of incarcerated parents by educating guidance counselors and teachers in the public school system. The goal is to support children's positive feelings about themselves and to encourage them to stay in school, while also supporting them at home, in their family, and in all aspects of their lives as they face this difficult journey which they often struggle with alone. The project will be led by youth leaders and ambassadors who have personal experience with incarcerated parents as well as helping others facing this issue.
