The socialite jokingly declared her candidacy and proposed a new energy plan, fusing both Barack Obama’s and John McCain’s incentives in an exclusive Funny or Die video. The clip pokes fun at her inclusion in a recent John McCain campaign ad, has been viewed more than 3 million times on the comedy Web site.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton made an "extremely generous" donation to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The funds will go toward the construction of a new building at their facility. Expected to open in 2010, the building will be a 460,000-square-foot Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases.
