Ludacris has joined DoSomething.org and Better World Books in an “Epic Book Drive” meant to replenish books in libraries in New Orleans’ Recovery School District that were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
“I am proud to be a spokesperson for this initiative as it’s in line with my dedication to empowering young people,” Ludacris said in a statement.
Rapper Partnering WIth DoSomething To Restock Libraries
Ludacris is partnering with non-profit DoSomething to launch the "Epic Book Drive" to help re-stock New Orleans libraries. The rapper took part in the effort after discovering that many schools were still trying to replenish their libraries' inventories.
