Ludacris Launches Louisiana Library Campaign Rapper Ludacris is backing a campaign to help libraries in Louisiana re-stock their shelves as they continue to struggle in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Many of the public institutions in the city of New Orleans were destroyed in the 2005 disaster and are still unable to replenish supplies six years later.

The rapper is helping New Orleans high schools replenish their libraries. Ludacris has teamed up with global bookstore Better World Books and non-profit DoSomething.org to launch the "Epic Book Drive." The campaign will help high schools in New Orleans restock their libraries after Hurricane Katrina damaged 80 percent of the schools in 2006.
