Ludacris Launches Louisiana Library Campaign
Rapper Ludacris is backing a campaign to help libraries in Louisiana re-stock their shelves as they continue to struggle in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Many of the public institutions in the city of New Orleans were destroyed in the 2005 disaster and are still unable to replenish supplies six years later.
The rapper is helping New Orleans high schools replenish their libraries.
Ludacris has teamed up with global bookstore Better World Books and non-profit DoSomething.org to launch the "Epic Book Drive." The campaign will help high schools in New Orleans restock their libraries after Hurricane Katrina damaged 80 percent of the schools in 2006.

The Atlanta rapper has joined forces with DoSomething.org and Epic Book Drive to help restock shelves in New Orleans, a city that is still recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina. The platinum MC has recorded a PSA to help encourage viewers to donate books to assist the organizations with their mission.
