On September 11, 2001 the United States and the World witnessed a tragedy. Terrorism caused nearly 3,000 people to lose their lives. Each person died a hero. In an effort to never forget the victims of 9-11, I constructed a memorial wall in my high school two years ago. After receiving approval from my principal, I asked a school club, Kansas Association for Youth, to assist me in creating the wall. The project took four months to plan, buy materials, create, and make. The wall contains 2,996 stars.
