Today’s world faces risks and dilemmas that were unthinkable 20 years ago. Even with the tremendous advancement in science and technology and improved standards of living, so much remains to be done for the betterment of society and mankind in general. What we need is better education, good health, safe neighborhoods and strong communities.

Sounds of Silence

A gathering of music, art, fashion, and anything artistic to raise money. The money was for children in Uganda who are experiencing hard time. These children are going through hunger and being abducted to fight in a war that does not concern them. The event was held in my high school after school hours. When invited fellow students who participate in the SCPA to perform. Students involved in dance, guitar, band, and any musical program took their bands and performed. Girls from dance created their own routine and performed.

Let's End Poverty

I am on a mission to help end global poverty. I've always thought that one person couldn't make a difference much less a teenager. But ever since I found this site and saw how thousands of teens my age were making a difference in this world, I decided that I could do it too.The Let's End Poverty is a project created by me where I with the help of many people raise money to send to various charities that support my cause, to end global poverty.

AfricAid

AfricAid is an organization that raises money for school girls in Tanzania, Africa. My sister and I have organized several fund raisers, through the middle school AfricAid program, AfricAid Kids Team, AKT. We, along with 6 other students, ages 10-15, have raised over $8000.00. We have used the money for scholarships for school girls in Tanzania whom otherwise might not have the opportunity for an education. We would like to contiue our efforts in supporting these deserving girls. Thank you for your consideration.
