My friend and I both felt motivated to make a difference in this world movement. We used the Senior Project as an opportunity to support such a cause. We hosted a variety show of many talents with all the proceeds gearing towards the Blood:Water Mission. You have nothing to lose, because every dollar you donate, you are giving one African water for a year. One dollar saves!

"Films That Move" is a film production company dedicated to making films that spark social change.

The first film of "Films That Move" follows a group of 15 students from the University of Illinois biked from New York City to San Diego over the course of this past summer to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer. The riders' journey is used as a case study to explore issues of cancer, life, and rallying together to fight a common cause in the documentary entitled "What People Do."

We feed and give out blankets, clothing and other items to those who are in need.We are a hands on ministry and rely on the help of others to keep our mission going. YOUthSERV is a club that would connect the youth of the area to their communities through service projects. High school students, along with a couple of adult sponsors, would meet weekly to discuss issues affecting them, their community, state, nation and/or the world, and once monthly perform a service project that addressed the issue of discussion i.e. discuss hunger and then organize a food drive or discuss homelessness and then serve food at a shelter and/or collect bedding.
