 "I fear being afraid of things. I don't want to be afraid of anything ever," the Grey's Anatomy star told the current issue of Allure.

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo had a thing or two to say about the role models our media makes . . .

"We're so focused on the wrong things. We're teaching young girls that this is what they s hould be focusing on: rich and famous girls who are rich and famous for nothing . . . What are we doing to this younger generation? It's not very responsible."

Furthermore, she addresed those eating disorder rumors surrounding her rail-thin frame:

"I just worry about the girls who look up to me — I don't want them to think I starve myself or don't eat, and that to be like me that's what they have to do."

Agreed, Meredith. Agreed.

People.com is reporting on a fundraising event last weekend that put Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo on cupcake duty, as well as the following sightings:

Rachel Bilson, at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Celebrity Carnival in Los Angeles, helping children at the Disney Princess castle make wands decorated with beads and ribbons. Also feeling artistic: Carmen Electra decorated shirts – and even fielded a kiss on the cheek from her rocker ex Dave Navarro. The pair hugged and joked, and Electra instructed funnyman Chris Kattan to pull on Navarro's beard. (She says that's how they say "hello!") Meanwhile, The Hills' Heidi Montag (there with her fiancé Spencer Pratt had plenty of affection for Lance Bass, nabbing a hug from the singer, who was on hand to judge a dance contest. (source)
