My project was a bake sale to help a local family. Their home along with everything they had was lost in a fire. I really did not know who they were but they were in our community and if someone in the community needs help they should get it even from a caring stranger. A community is like a family and everyone is connected. That family is living the best they can and is starting a new fresh start. I proved that no matter how young you are you can make a difference. I was only 11 years old in sixth grade and constructed this whole thing.
