People Magazine released today their special 100 most beautiful people issue. We, of course, were drawn to the “More than Skin Deep” article, which looked at stars who are shining from the inside.
Their list as follows:
David Beckham, for serving as Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund. The heart-of-gold footballer says of being asked by Kofi Annan to campaign for kids’ rights around the world: “It was one of the proudest moments of my life, and remains so.”
Also working with UNICEF, the gorgeous Salma Hayek has partnered with Pampers to provide a tetanus shot to babies in developing countries for every pack of diapers sold with a UNICEF logo. For the new mom, nothing could be simpler: “You give them a vaccine, they don’t die.”
