I am a Boy Scout in Troop 99. For my Eagle Project I looked for something that I had an interest in that would also help the community. I really like animals and fully support adopting animals from shelters. I contacted my local SPCA and asked if they had any projects or services that needed to be done. They told me that they were looking for someone to build 20 Screech Owl Nesting Boxes. I had to find dimensions and instructions on my own. I have chosen to use cedar wood as it would have the longest life and would impact the community decades from now.
