Are you ready to step up for service this year? Well, Hollywood is! Yesterday in San Francisco Jon Bon Jovi and Matthew McConaughey came out to represent The Entertainment Industry Foundation and announce a new, nationwide service initiative.

CGG caught up with Jon Bon Jovi before he headed in to accept his award at the Food Bank for New York City’s Sixth Annual "Can-Do Awards" where he was honored for his work alongside the Bed Stuy Campaign Against Hunger. The celebs poured onto Abigail Kirsch’s Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers in NYC, strutted down the orange Food Bank carpet, and into the ballroom.

Which is why this year’s Service Nation Summit on Sept. 11 and 12 was a huge hit; bringing out Hillary Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, and Usher to support uniting Americans through voluntary community service. But it was Usher who held the honor of being named Service Nation’s Youth Chair.
