Organ Donation

My volunteer community service activity is a public relations project for DECA, which is a national marketing organization. My project is on organ and tissue donation. I aimed to create a sense of importance about organ donation to the young people of Utah, particularly Davis County. Through certain activities and promotional ideas, I was able to make teenagers and first time drivers more fully aware of the facts and consequences of being an organ donor.

A Girl Scout Gold Award Project.
Millions of people are effected by health issues; how are those who are healthy supporting those who are not? Sure donating money to one specific organization is helpful, but when there are so many why not spread the wealth?
The goal of Project Save A Life is to pull the American Red Cross, Locks of Love, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Carly's Club (pediatric cancer), Donate Life (organ donation), AIDS Community Services of Buffalo, and Hospice of Buffalo, together and have the ultimate fundraiser.
