Best Buddies is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. The University of Central Florida's Best Buddies chapter is putting together a Field Day in honor of the National Best Buddies awareness month. Our goal is to bring hundreds of people together to promote the ideals of friendship and tolerance.

For my project, I am singlehandedly planning and organizing an awareness event. I want people in the community to be less ignorant about autism, Down's Syndrome, etc. I plan to invite and solicit donations from at least three major celebrities. I will emcee the event, pay for hotel accomodations for all out of state guests, and enlist the help of my fellow seniors for set up and clean up. I want to have some restaurants and grocery chains donate food and/or money. All proceeds will turn around and go to Best Buddies International
