The Junior Civitan Clubs of South Carolina will all get together in Columbia in January 2008 to begin cleaning up graffiti from public places. Graffiti depreciates the value of the community. By cleaning up the graffiti off of the walls and buildings of the city, the value will go back up. People will want to be out and about, and be able to look at scenery that is pretty. Without graffiti all over the place, they can feel safer and want to be outside. Cleaning the graffiti will also help people have more pride in where they live.
