After learning in her biology class about parasite problems, Miya decided to act and founded Pure Water to Panama. With her team they will build a water purifier in the U.S. and transport it to Panama, with the $3,000 she has already raised in various fundraisers.

The Cool Coventry Club outreach works to find ways to interest others in the importance of energy conservation. Colin has spoken with several businesses to create action plans to reduce their carbon footprint, and is now meeting with legislators to do the same for Connecticut.
