"Just Like You"

I am beginning a project. The project name is not set as of now, and probably won't be until it is finally complete. I have lived and visited many areas with an outrageous homeless population that is hated, ignored, and looked down on. I would like to start this project by getting a nice recorder (continuous recording, battery life, and direct computer upload) and recording life stories from homeless men, women, and children around the United States. I would like to be able to offer them some money but I really do not have the resources myself.

TeenAmbition – Online Magazine

Help launch www.TeenAmbition.org, the online magazine for people who have dreams, goals, and a desire to make a difference. TeenAmbition provides a forum for young writers, business owners, and community leaders to share their stories.

This project was started to help young adults improve their financial literacy. Anyone can learn about money, business, and the economy. These topics impact everyone’s lives, yet few people take the time to understand them. A fundamental knowledge of these issues can make it much easier to succeed in almost any venture.

Writer's Workshop

Writer's Workshop is a mentoring program that fosters a reading and writing interest in elementary and middle school students through lessons beyond the average classroom. We aim to create a network of passionate high school mentors dedicated to making a difference in their community by promoting a writing interest in students. We are primarily involved in changing and improving students’ attitude and vision of writing by help younger students develop their style by exploring the various writing genres and eventually helping them form their own.

Read Write Action!

To see is to understand, to understand is to think, to think is to express, and to express is to grow. Our children aren't growing. They aren't being taught to think. What they take in at school has no apparent relationship to their reality. Knowledge, information, and even wisdom can be found everywhere. But, our kids must be taught to see it. They need to be able to see that they can learn, create, and that the learning process can be fun.
