Fallbrook Community Garden

The Community Garden is open to the whole community. The area the garden is located in is surrounded by low-income families. The garden now provides a safe place to gather and grow fresh produce that is usually too expensive for them to purchase, and subsequently is eliminated from their diet. This increases the chance of diabetes, and becoming overweight and physically unfit in both children and adults. It is proven that when children grown their own food, they are more likely to eat that food.
