Has anyone noticed that it is so hard to find shelter animals online? I mean the sites are not updated. Many shelters are hard to find and hard to find an animal at unless you have all day. Many places the only way you can volunteer is being at the shelter. I think we need to find a way to come together and independently help the shelters. Have some kind of data base in different areas of the pets needing to be adopted. We could also create our own fundraisers, psa's and designs to raise awareness, without having to have a degree or a specific style of art. What do you think?

The pandas in China

if you didn't already here about the earthquake in china, it wiped out most of the bamboo supply for the pandas. they only have a 3-5 month supply of food. after those 5 monthes 90% of the wolds population of pandas are gonna die. Any suggestions on how to help those pandas live???

It makes me cry when I hear about all these animals being put down because shelters can't find a home for them and there isn't enough room for all of them. If you can't take care of a pet don't buy one, so it can be bought by some one who can take care of it.

Big Brown has injury: should he run?

im watching the belmont stakes right now and i just saw Big Brown. he was limping on his injured hoof (he has a crack in it and its brusied). i have horses and i wouldn't ride my horses in a simple walking show like that, let alone the belmont, the most grueling and tiring race of them all. the announcers and trainers are starting to get on my nerves, telling everybody that he is "fine", and i think they are going to run him.

these horses are too young to race anyway. you shouldnt ride until they are at least 4 1/2 yrs or 5.

what do u think?
