During this Holiday season, a group of friends and I decided we wanted to serve the less fortunate. Through a seris of acts we wanted to better the lives of some of the families in our community. We adopted five families through Northern Valley Catholic Social Services and bought them gifts for the holiday. We helped with the canned food drive and brought in about 7000 cans school-wide. We also served food at the mission to many of the homeless families there. In addition, we helped a widow move into a new house. And also helped a single lady build a new fence in her backyard.

I am very glad to be apart of the c-som (Crestview Students On Missions) ministries. On every tuesday during the summer, my youth group goes out into the community and serves in every way possible. We do everything including washing car windows at gas stations, cleaning gas station toiletts, fixing houses, painting houses, handing out cold bottles of water to workers, picking up trash on the side of the highway, and everything else you can think of. It is one of the most anticipated projects of the summer! Seeing the expressions and smiles of the people makes it 100% worth it!
