I plan to help the over one-million Darfurian refugees who have been forced to flee because of the genocide there. I also hope to bring a sharp awareness of this horrific, still-occuring event to the minds of political figures. I recgnize that aid to refugees is not a full solution to the genocide problem, but it will ease the suffering and transtion of many people.

Help plan A Sweet Soul Supper for The Margaret Fuller House.

The 2008 theme is Carnival for the June 14th 2008 event and volunteers are needed in many areas.

During the event volunteers can set up, clean up, work the silent auction, register guests, and more.

Volunteers can also help before the event by preparing invitations or making decorations.

Volunteer and/or join The Planning Committee meetings.

Autograph4CF is a project I'm doing, where celebrity autographs will be auctioned off to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help fund research for a cure. CF is one of the most common genetic disorders, with about 30,000 people affected in the US alone. It affects the lungs and pancreas, and used to be like a death sentence... in the 60s, the lifespan was about 14. Now it's about 37 years, since treatments have improved. However, there's no cure yet.
