Uyisenga N'Manzi works with children and young adults who have become orphans and head of their households as a result of the Rwandan genocide and of HIV/AIDS. The majority of the beneficiaries of Uyisenga are also survivors of the Rwandan genocide and suffer from the consequences of witnessing and being victims of many atrocities.For these reasons, Uyisenga offers a comprehensive package to all of its beneficiaries. They receive mental health care but are also helped to achieve economic sustainability through the development of income generating activities.
