The mission of Sex S.Y.M.B.A.L.S. is to empower Black and Latino people in the Syracuse University community and the surrounding Central New York region, to live healthy sexual lives by promoting conscientious decision-making regarding sexuality by providing on-site preventative education, technical assistance and outreach support, with a focus on sexuality education, HIV/AIDS, STIs, sexual abuse, and abstinence. Our target population consists of those identified in applicable research as being at high risk of factors that contribute to poor sexual health on any level.
