Every year so many kids, from young children to older teenagers, are plagued with the heartaches that too often comes with urban living. Abuse, drugs, alcohol, poverty, poor education, gangs, are all major problems. Everyone needs a place to go where they can feel like they're a part of something, like they're understood, loved, respected, somewhere they can go to express themselves, to find something they can be passionate about. Art and music have been one of the biggest parts of my life for as far back as I can remember.
