The Nzinga Sisterhood Circle

While our mission is the develop unity, cultural awareness, and a stable support line for women of the African Diaspora, we encourage diverse participation. Women of the African Diaspora have very low interaction on campus and graduate at a much slower rate than other groups. It is our purpose to remedy the issues that cause these two problems through self empowerment, sisterhood, community service, campus and community events, acceptance and activism.

Preparing Youth for College Life

A lot of students are unaware of what to expect from college. This project will encourage students to keep up their grades and apply to colleges and HOPE with the help of past seniors. Also, I want to encourage other graduates to go back to their high schools and educate the youth. Show them that if no one else cares, you care. Because the one thing we are missing in society is the giving back aspect. The people who succeed never pass down the secrets, and never help the others coming after them to get over their own obstacles; especially in the black community.
