Do Something and Aeropostale teamed up for the Teens for Jeans Campaign. The purpose for this fund-raiser was to encourage teenagers and adults to donate gently-worn jeans to Aeropostale in order to give the jeans to homeless teens. The Staten Island Do Something Club made daily announcements on the loud speaker for students to bring in jeans and by the end of the week had collected 30 bags with up to five pairs of jeans in each bag! The condition of all the donated jeans was clean and barely-worn.
