I am enrolled in AFLP(Adolescent Family Life Program). The program is designed to get teens with children (girls 19 and younger, and boys 21 and under)to finish high school and attain a job. The program helps with filing for FAFSA, college financail aid, if the student requests it. I propose that another seperate program can be established in cooperation with the AFLP/CalWorks programs specifically designed to push these teen parents more toward a career than Welfare.
