Generation 119:9 was created in September of 2007 to reach the 6,512 kids betweens the ages of preschool and 12th grade in the Braidwood, Coal City, and Wilmington school districts. The kids have a lot of idle time and that turns into drug and alchohol abuse. They have belonging issues and pain. They try to cover their pain with band aids and this just causes more pain for them. Generation 119:9 is dedicated to reaching those kids by giving them fun and exciting things to do.
