We are helping 2 communities with this project: Santa Ana, California and Anaheim Hills, California. We are addressing the problem of people being undereducated about the sun, solar weather and other topics. Ridgecrest Elementary is a K-8 school located in a rural community in western Stanly County, North Carolina. This school’s students are nice, friendly, and quite intelligent. Unfortunately, many of the students are not interested in reading. My Eagle Scout project has the potential to correct this problem by creating a fun reading environment for the students. I plan to construct an outdoor classroom area that contains benches and a storyteller’s chair.

The Thomas Aquinas College (TAC) Medical Society is a new organization for pre-medical, pre-dental, and pre-nursing students at Thomas Aquinas College.
The College's curriculum is a strong liberal arts program, and pre-health students, like us, choose it as their undergraduate education because professional schools, like medical schools and nursing programs, have seen liberal arts students excel as caregivers.

Our purpose here at Science Days is to provide female middle school students an after-school program which focuses on science and mathematics. Females, especially minorities, are under-represented in many higher learning institutions majoring in science and mathematics. The future of the world will be placed upon the shoulders of our future engineers, scientists, mathematicians, etc. The current and potential problems that the world will face within the next decade will directly affect this generation.

For the past 4 years I have been activley involved with teaching science in my old elementary school. I coach a science olympiad team, promoting education, competition, and interest in science/ technological fields. An event that I coach, crime busters, also encourages those students with their sights and goals in forensics or law enforcement.

Founded in July 2006, the United Aeronautics and Spaceflight Orgization (UASO) is a third generation virtual space agency aimed at simulating, with the highest realism possible, manned and unmanned spaceflight operations. To carry out these operations, we use a very realistic spaceflight simulator called Orbiter, created by Martin Schweiger.
What is the goal of the UASO? The UASO strives to provide the ultimate experience for those who wish to learn more about astronomy and space exploration, by simulating the every day operations of a space agency while online.

Kelydra created a simple test for people in her town in West Virginia to discover contaminants in water so people can have clean drinking water. She currently has a patent pending on her water test. DuPont wasn't taking the initiative to make sure people had clean water, so Kelyra did.

Irvington High School Do Something Club School is Cool Project: The main goal of this project is to target young people who are losing interest in their academics when they enter High School to give them the motivation and the insights on their futures. We have in mind to target freshmen. Studies have shown that within 3 weeks into the first year of high school has a big impact on the students. Either most students feel unmotivated due to the difference between their past academic lives or some feel motivated to keep going.
