Project Description

Hi my name is Carly, and I am currently taking a science related community service class at my College. The assingment that my group is going to be working on is planting an organic garden for the Nursery on the schools campus. The organic garden will teach the young children about eating healthy and the responsibility of taking care of a garden. We think that the garden will be very beneficial so the children can learn about the different plants and have fun at the same time. Raising a garden will also make the children want to eat the vegetables from it since they helped grow them. The garden will make the children very proud to think that they are able to take care of it. We have to fundraise the entire project and we hope to have the garden planted by the end of April. It will be alot of fun and we cannot wait to start planting, unfortunatly we have to have all the fundraising and grants before we can start. We would greatly appreciate any way you could help us.
