Plumpy’nut is our passion. For those of you that may not be familiar with this strange name, Plumpy’nut has been recognized as “Africa’s miracle food”. It is a mixture of peanut paste, vegetable oil, powdered milk formula and essential vitamins and minerals. It was created to provide severely malnourished children with a high energy and high protein packed food. In 2007, the first ever Walk for Plumpy'nut was established by a dedicated group of the self - proclaimed "Plumpy'nut Fanatics". The original goal for this walk was to raise $2,000.
