See It: The Community being helped

Starting in 2007, Salisbury Korean United Methodist Church started building a new church. We used to rent a church inside the downtown for worships and praises. The neighborhood was very dangerous; some threw rocks at the door window and played jokes on people’s cars. The children, their parents, and the rest who attend the church were terrified. Then our pastor came up with an idea of building a new church. Everybody said it was impossible because we didn’t have enough money to buy the land and to build the church.

With our prayers to God, He made all this work. To celebrate, the youth decided to make a concert to perform on the first day we enter the building. The original date to be performed was August, 2007. The youth started to prepare for concert from May of 2007. But due to unfinished work and inspections need to be passed, we could not have the concert until 2008. All winter, we worked harder to make the concert perfect.

Finally the concert was performed on January 6, 2008. The concert was amazing, spectacular, and exciting. This brought many people to the church, more than a hundred people including those who are involved in the concert.
