My name is Anthony Todd and I am requesting a plum grant for New Wave Community Organization. New Wave is a community-based non-profit organization that caters to the youth in the city of Detroit. It is extremely hard for this organization to receive funding because we are in the process of receiving tax-exempt status from the I.R.S. We have a basketball league that we have on Saturday’s, in which approximately 150 children between the ages of 10-18 play in a basketball league.
