Heart problems in the community has inspired me and my family to do EKG screening at local parks and recreational facilities. Over the past year over thirty kids have died due to heart problems. A physical is required to play sports; however, heart screenings are not. As a result atheletes may risk their lives while participating in these sports/ activities. Smart heart wants to implement a program where heart screening are necessary so that our youth can be prepared and educated for the unexpected.St
