Growing up and maturing from a child to an adult should be the most exciting time in your life. From riding your first bike, tying your first shoe, recieving honor roll, buying your first car, going to prom, graduating from high school etc. Most children have the chance to live a normal life and do most of the things they want to do in life, but some are not most fortunate and have to learn about the dark sides of life first. They say real parenting starts at home, but everyone that has a child isn't specifically a parent if they abuse their kids by words and violence.
