When children do not move and exercise, a variety of long-term problems arise. Obesity, lack of attention span during class, lack of ability to work as a team, lack of want to take risks. All research shows that without play, children grow up to be non-productive adults.

We could not let our students be in this position, just because our playground was 12 years old, rotting, too small and as the kids say "too boring".

We will ensure after this playground build that all of students are moving around during recess and after-school getting all of the benefits of PLAY!

We are helping rural/tribal and slum community. We have our centres in 4 states of India having our head quarters in Bangalore.The main problem here in these community children is that they join school only for mid day meals and then they drop out.We want to provide an interesting evening centers for these children to learn what they learnt in the school and make the education more interesting. The education we think of here is the Alternative Education and not the conventional education.

We are trying to build community centers all around the world to help and in inform children about Global Warming and Enviromental problems. While interning at a nonprofit organization in my home town I came to realize a problem that the nonprofit industry has been talking about for a long time: nonprofit organizations tend to be behind in technological literacy. This causes them to loose time struggling to use computers as well as loosing time on tasks that can be much more quickly and easily done on a computer. A recent study by the Nonprofit Technology Network found that over half of nonprofit organizations thought they were understaffed when it came to IT (Nonprofit IT Staffing, 2006).

The problem I am trying to solve is that of the epidemic of apathy toward academic success. Many of my high school peers value their academics significantly lower than sports, girls, partying, and other things. While those things are fun, academic success is one of the most powerful investments in their future. I want to make balanced academic achievement once again a priority for my generation.

There is a plethora of information about global warming available on the Internet, television, and other popular media sources. These forms of communication primarily target two main audiences: educated adults and elementary school children. There is a gap in the amount of climate change information available to junior high and high school-aged students. While it is important to target younger children while they are still forming their values and worldviews, environmental education is ineffective if it is not continuous throughout other levels of schooling.
