MObama to Star on iCarly to Raise Awareness
Michelle Obama may be a part of the First Family, but she's also taking thousands more under her wing. The First Lady is set to make an appearance on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon's iCarly in order to raise awareness for military families.
The TV show stars Miranda Cosgrove as Carly Shay, a web series star whose Dad is a Navy colonel overseas. In the scheduled episode, Carly and her friends break some rules in order to chat online with her dad on his birthday. Michelle Obama, playing herself, will find out about it and intervene in a positive way.

This weekend Michelle Obama visited Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA, to show support for 3,500 families and marines that have lost loved ones in the Middle East. In a ceremony to honor the 5 marines that have died most recently, the First Lady reaffirmed her pledge to work with President Obama to budget more money for marine families for counseling, child care, and other services.
