Who's Who of the NYC Art Scene. CGG

CGG was on the scene this past Tuesday, as art fanatics and scenesters alike joined to celebrate photographer Mick Rock and artist Russell Young’s latest exhibit entitled “Rebel Rebel.”

The exhibit was a part of a benefit hosted by the Milk Gallery to raise money for the Art of Elysium. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from the art pieces, which featured acid-brilliant images of David Bowie, Lou Reed, and Iggy Pop, were donated to the charity which brings artists, photographers, and actors together to perform art therapy projects with hospitalized children.

Riley Keough and Elijah Wood hosted the event, which also brought out the likes of Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson, and All My Children heartthrob Cameron Mathison.

Celebs Gone Good came within inches of Madonna and JT in the press room -- at one point, we could reach out and touch them (of course, we didn't! We're professionals!). The two posed with fellow icon -- and inductee -- Iggy Pop, who wore his usual attire: shirtless, with well-defined abs. We've never seen so many camera flashes go off at the same time!

During the show -- which you will get a chance to see on March 22nd on VH1 at 11:00 PM-- Iggy saluted Madonna with performing "Burning Up" and "Ray of Light."

Meanwhile, Madonna's Justin- and Timbaland-produced new tune has a title that we at Do Something just loooooooove: "Four Minutes to Save the World." And according to Justin: "In a sense, that's what she's always done: Save the world, one great four-minute pop song at a time."

Not to mention her involvement with Raising Malawi, which she recently held a HUGE benefit for in NYC!
