See It: The Community being helped

I recently created a website called restoretheworld.com (it is up and running--in beta mode)
This has taken on support from my school, and beginning to spread city wide. So far, RTW has been a resource for kids to go to research different aspects of each global issues, and discuss possible solutions. It could be considered as a "Project Management" site, however instead of tracking progress on business ideas, it focuses on the progress individual people are making in efforts to solve global problems, and shows the "big picture" by the larger progress.
With the grant money I could receive, I would use this to buy resources to allow students accomplish their goals more easily. I would also like to spread Restore the World's message to other cities nationwide.

green schools is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create greener/healthier learning environments. We address issues pertaining to indoor air quality [green cleaning], reducing, reusing, recycling, and nutrition.

We offer a variety of programs to our schools. green schools uses the EPAs Tools for Schools and can offer green audits to administration. We look at existing wellness and recycling policies in place, and help our schools to move forward.

We offer staff trainings on ways to be green. We go into K-12 classrooms to educate about environmental issues and nutrition. We have songs, crafts, videos, and relevant materials for our students. We raise awareness on environmental issues as well as nutrition.

green school is frustrated by the sales of cookie dough, candy, and excessive wrapping paper in our schools. We have searched far and wide to find alternative and educational fundraisers for our schools. Instead of junk, we offer eco-friendly fashion shows, walks, and green-recycled product. We have even teamed up with a wellness company that gives a portion of sales of their green products back to the school.
