See It: The Community being helped

The ultimate goal is to affect how our school (Jefferson Academy Charter in Broomfield, Colorado) community views the environment. Building up to a final workday, our focus will lie with advertising and bringing awareness about our cause. Through this, we hope to find volunteers willing to help on our Final Challenge Day. This day will entail refurbishing an area that needs an environment makeover by planting trees, flowers, and other plants. After the workday, we will hold a barbeque for our volunteers. This is not only as a thank you, but also for added awareness. From our partner organization, we are going to ask for a speaker to present the group's environmental beliefs and applicable ways to use them. All of this will kick offf the necessary reality of environmental preservation, and then provide the knowledge for people in our community to continue in this lifestyle.
