For years we have been sending students to Nicaragua to build homes for impoverished citizens of the country. This year was the first year it had become a club in our school, instead of an out of school trip. Saving people's lives is touching to me. Helping the Communtiy Blood Center run 2 local blood drives per year will help prepare for a horrible disaster if needed. Also, people tend to have accidents everyday and need blood transfusions.
