I see the state doing a great job, agency to agency. But I contemplate the distribution of that information to the public. I think there is a better way to engage the public in a non threatening way. We want people to care. My passion is to see neighborhood watch groups and property owners groups networking with the radio show to organize a field day. A trip to neighborhoods with first responders and volunteers from the construction community, giving a practical hands on lessons in disaster preparedness.
