The community we serve is the entire city of Winston-Salem, NC and the surrounding cities any child in grades K-12 are welcome to participate in our program free of charge. The problems we seek to solve are effectively integrating dis-advantaged youth into the community and society. We want to show today’s youth how they can make a difference and live effective lives. We have and wish to continue to address many problems facing today’s youth: the increasing rate of young minorities African-American and Hispanic (ages 12-24) that are newly diagnosed cases of HIV/AIDS over the past 5 years.
