Pets helping People”

I am an undergraduate student attending Alvin Community College Majoring in Pre Veterinary Studies. I have an idea to start a club or a group of Volunteers in my community that can take there small pets up to the Retirement Center certain days of the week to let the elderly enjoy there company. I myself have a few pets of my own and really enjoy there companionship and good nature. Recent studies have shown that pets can actually be uplifting and reduce anxiety and stress. I feel that it would help get young people involved in the community as well as giving something to the elderly.

I would need the grant money to help organize the organization and raise funds to make people aware of the organization.
