Hundreds of women (and plenty of men too!) united in Westwood, California on Sunday afternoon to attend the Every Woman for Obama Rally. The event, held at the Pauley Pavilion at UCLA, promoted voter registration among women as California's October 20th deadline draws near.

This afternoon NBA baller Steve Nash will play a game of soccer with buddies like Baron Davis, Jason Kidd, and football (or soccer for us Americanos) legends Thierry Henry and Claudio Reyna. It's free and open to the public New York City’s Lower East Side. The game will be followed by a silent auction to raise money for the Steve Nash Foundation, which is dedicated to child welfare issues.
